The objectives in relation to these services are to:

• Ensure all adequate supply of piped water of suitable quality for domestic, industrial and agricultural use.
• Provide a safe and adequate system for the disposal of sewage and other waterborne waste.

Responsibility for these services, even in towns, rests with Cork County Council.
