Environmental Protection Objectives:

To ensure environmental conditions conducive to
health and amenity.

Midleton Town Council’s activities include:

  1. Promotion of Waste Reduction and Recycling and facilitating the location of bring sites in the town. Maintenance of the bring sites is the responsibility of Cork County Council.
  2. Implementation of the Council's Litter Management Plan.
  3. Monitoring and Enforcement in respect of Dangerous Buildings and Structures.
  4. Monitoring and Enforcement in respect of Derelict Sites.
  5. Monitoring and Enforcement regarding
    Public Health Nuisances.
  6. Monitoring and Enforcement regarding indiscriminate dumping, littering and breaches of the Waste Management Act, 1996 and the Litter Pollution Act, 1997.
  7. Provision and Maintenance of public conveniences.
